McHenry County Hit & Run Accident
A McHenry hit & run accident occurred Thursday (July 16, 2020) evening. This McHenry hit & run accident led to the bicyclist being injured and hospitalized. The collision occurred in the 300 block of North Street.

McHenry Police Department Public Affairs Officer Patrick Polidori said that the bicyclist and a Toyota Corolla were both traveling southbound on Front Street.
The bicyclist was struck by the Toyota, causing the man to be thrown onto the roadway from his bike.
He sustained a head injury and paramedics transported him to Northwestern Medicine Hospital in McHenry, Polidori said.
The bicyclist was flown to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville for medical treatment.
Police were able to later locate the suspected driver of the vehicle, who faces various charges.
