McHenry County Collision Injures Car Passenger

There was a collision Sunday morning (March 20, 2016) in which a vehicle crashed into a utility pole after swerving to avoid a deer.  The accident happened in Bull Valley.

According to the Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department, they responded to the crash scene at approximately 9:50 a.m.

The vehicle was traveling along Crystal Springs Road near Colonel Holcomb Drive at the time of the accident.

A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Jeannine Nelson, 78, of Woodstock was hurt as a result of the collision.  She was taken to Centegra Hospital in McHenry for treatment of her accident injuries, which were reported to be serious in nature.

Hit & Run Accident Injures Girl In Woodstock

McHenry County Hit & Run Pedestrian Accident

There was a hit & run accident involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Wednesday evening, March 9, 2016.

According to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at approximately 7:00 p.m. as a juvenile girl was walking along Perkins Road near Gee Road.  At that time, the girl was struck by an eastbound car which then fled the accident scene.

The girl was taken to Centegra Hospital in Woodstock for treatment of her accident injuries, which were considered to be “minor” in nature.
